As one of the programmes to mark the 50-year celebration of our club, a fund-raising charity walk to be held to support 03 charity organization of Batticaloa on 29th of April 2023 in Batticaloa Town with the support of Seylan bank. More than 200 participants with a few Club propaganda vehicle, “Papare Band” Digital Display vehicle, Seylan bank vehicle and etc. will take part in this parade which will commence at 7.30am from Pillayaradi and reach Gandi Park at 12.30pm. During this program we expect a donation/collection of Rs.400,000.00 to 500,000.00 from local and overseas well-wishers for this purpose. The bank officials will make necessary arrangements to collect the well-wisher’s contribution by cash or through on-line transactions, deposit on a new saving account. At the end of the above walk, the whole collections money to be divided into three and handed over to the three charity organizations to meet their immediate needs.
